Pam Martin, M.D.

Pamela S. Martin, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in cornea, anterior segment, and refractive surgery. She brings a strong academic background and surgical expertise in complex anterior segment procedures, refractive technologies, and corneal pathology.

Dr. Martin completed her fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida, where she served as Chief Resident. She earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University with a degree in biomedical science and a minor in business.

An active contributor to clinical research, Dr. Martin has authored peer-reviewed publications in journals such as the American Journal of Ophthalmology Case Reports, Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology, and CHEST. She has presented her work at national meetings including the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Women in Ophthalmology, and the Florida Society of Ophthalmology, where she earned First Place Podium Presentation. Her professional affiliations include the Cornea Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and Women in Ophthalmology.

She has received multiple recognitions for her clinical performance and leadership, including Resident of the Year and the Joe Sam Robinson, Sr., M.D. Prize in Surgery.

Dr. Martin is also passionate about community care and previously volunteered at free clinics, school vision screenings, and early-childhood health education events. Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, tennis, snow skiing, fly-fishing, and is a certified rescue scuba diver.
