North Georgia Eye Associates (NGEA) is pleased to welcome optometrist Dr. Sara Cha to our growing team! Dr. Cha brings advanced clinical training in ocular disease, cornea and glaucoma care, and contact lens fittings. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care and helping patients maintain lifelong eye health.
“Dr. Cha’s depth of experience and commitment to individualized, evidence-based care make her a valuable addition to our team,” said Dr. Jack Chapman, managing partner and ophthalmologist at North Georgia Eye Associates. “We’re proud to welcome her and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our patients and community.”
Dr. Cha earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry (UIWRSO) and completed a post-doctoral residency in ocular disease and ocular surgery at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta. During her externship training, she gained hands-on experience in ocular disease management and specialty contact lens fittings at Eye Centers of Texas, Lifetime Eyecare, and UIWRSO’s in-house specialty clinics.
She is a recipient of the American Academy of Optometry’s J. Pat Cummings Scholarship and a member of the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association and Georgia Optometric Association.
Dr. Cha will see patients at NGEA’s Gainesville East and Gainesville West locations.
