Lori C. Lebow, M.D., graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Spanish from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and earned her medical degree from the University of Iowa. She completed her internship at the University of Virginia and then performed her ophthalmology residency at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation/LSU in New Orleans, Louisiana.
A board-certified ophthalmologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Lebow has done research for both the National Eye Institute in Bethesda, Maryland and Harvard Medical School’s Joslin Diabetes Institute. She has performed foreign studies at the Universidad DeValladolid in Spain and received the Barry Freeman Scholarship for the study of medicine in developing nations in Merida, Venezuela. In 2019, she was named a Top Doctor in Atlanta by Castle Connolly.
Dr. Lebow enjoys spending time with her three children and participating in their extracurricular activities. In her spare time, she likes to read a good book, cook meals for her family, practice yoga and travel as much as possible to learn about different cultures.
