Dr. Zhou is a dedicated optometrist committed to delivering outstanding patient care, with a strong foundation in primary eye care, clinical practice and research. She is bilingual and fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English, enhancing her ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.

Dr. Zhou has presented her research at various conferences, including the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) in Boston and the Association in Research for Vision Science and Ophthalmology. Her work has focused on topics such as the effect of defocus on directional preference in motion transparency and the recovery of anterior corneal biometry after discontinuation of orthokeratology.

Dr. Zhou earned her Master of Science in Clinical Medicine from Tianjin Medical University in China and her Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Vision Science degrees from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Davie, FL. Throughout her studies, she has been recognized with several honors and awards, including serving as a Student Fellow at AAO, receiving a student grant from Johnson & Johnson, and being named to the Chancellor’s List as part of the Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry Honor Program.

Dr. Zhou will see patients at NGEA’s Cumming, Gainesville East and Hamilton Mill locations.
